I don’t usually do public service announcements but it really upsets me when I hear people (especially in the art world) make statements like “That movie is ‘too Hollywood’ for me,” or “That artist/show/album/music/exhibit is too mainstream for me.” There are intelligent, funny, and brilliant people that have dedicated their passion and life into the production of such works. Let’s just have some respect for each other, thanks.
